Thin sections of renalcid-group calcimicrobes;

Upper photo is VS;

Lower two photos are TS.

Note the structure is recrystallised but appears to be composed of composites of rounded objects, found in better preserved samples to be renalcid-group calcimicrobes.

Note sharp boundaries of microbial structure, either filled with micrite, or enclosing empty space (now filled with cement).
